Lorna Cloud

Lorna Cloud is the Secretary at St. Martha school, a role she has served in since 2015. Prior to that, Lorna served as administrative assistant in a variety of other schools around town including Eliahu Academy, Summit Academy and KCD.

Lorna says her favorite thing about her job is that she gets to interact with everyone involved in the school – parents, staff and students.

“My favorite thing is the interaction with the students – having them wave to me or come in to say hello is the highlight of my day. And I love when the little ones come up and hug me! They can literally turn a stressful day around,” says Lorna.

Lorna has two sons, Garrett and Isaac. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her boys, hanging out with friends, reading, painting, exercising and working part-time in real estate.

“My hope for students is that they not compare themselves to others, but embrace their own personality and uniqueness. One thing that a lot of successful people have in common is that they were different than everyone around them.”

"The teachers are really vested in the kids long after they leave their classes. Family is the best word to describe St. Martha and prepared is the best word to describe my son after his time there.”
