Holly studied at the University of Louisville and earned her Child Development Associate Degree. She also has her Commonwealth Child Care Credential from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Holly creates a classroom atmosphere that is fun and adventurous.
Q & A with Mrs. Oyler
Highlight of the year:
“Thanksgiving Feast” when all the preschoolers come together to remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
Incorporating fun in the classroom along with learning, so the children love to come to school.
Each child learns differently, both physically and mentally, so I like to establish different learning techniques based on the children’s needs.
Favorite part of teaching:
Watching the children grow as individuals and to see them so proud of themselves.
Favorite teaching memory:
The Spring Fling and watching the children enjoy all the festivities around Derby.
Favorite thing about St. Martha:
St. Martha feels more like family; like you belong here. Administration, Staff, Families and Parish.
My hope for my students:
To love school as they grow.
I love to be outdoors and enjoy nature. Spending time with my family and friends at the lake or just walking the Parklands.
