The 8th Graders Shark Tank projects! It was remarkable seeing the ingenuity, creativity and fun the students had throughout the creation of their inventions. Everything from their advertising campaigns, to the demonstrations – it was all illustrative to just how talented our students are!
My passions are my family and basketball. Love both and hope to be a part of the St. Martha coaching community in the future.
My favorite parts of teaching are the relationships built up with the students over time, showing students how talented they can be when they set their mind to things, and working with the other faculty to help facilitate learning.
Being a brand new teacher, my favorite memories have been when I was surprised by my students commitment and effort in our projects. Nothing is more special than seeing kids understand and apply the lessons they’re taught every day.
The way I have been welcomed by the students, faculty, and parents. It has been an insane year to begin my teaching career, but I would not have done it anywhere else. St. Martha is truly a family community and I’m honored to be a part of it.
My hope for my students is that they push themselves past their comfort zones when their teachers aren’t around. I strive hard to challenge and engage each student in specific ways that can bring out the best in them, I just hope they take those lessons and apply them to real life.
