Stephanie Schoo

Stephanie Schoo has been teaching since 2000. Her own strong Catholic values allow her to incorporate faith-based teachings into her instructions. Although new to St. Martha, Stephanie has had an immediate impact on our school community, introducing very fun, yet educational teaching techniques that our students and parents love!

"My hope for my little kiddos is that they have experienced that school can be fun yet at the same time they have learned something new."

Q & A with Ms. Schoo

Highlight of the year:

Experiencing the fun and exciting personalities of the kiddos.

Passion:

My passion about teaching the little ones is seeing their faces and how happy they get when they have learned something new or finally GOT IT after trying and working hard on something that was a challenge.

Philosophy:

My philosophy to teaching kids is that I want children to feel as comfortable and safe in school as they do at home. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, fun educational environment.

Favorite part of teaching:

I have a very strong Catholic faith, and I like to incorporate it in my teaching whenever I can in ways little ones understand.

Favorite teaching memory:

My most favorite memories from teaching is watching the children that I have taught grow into amazing young adults. I love to see and hear about their how successful they have become.

Favorite thing about St. Martha:

My favorite thing about St. Martha is the loving and supportive Catholic community that I have experienced.

My hope for my students:

My hope for my little kiddos is that they have experienced that school can be fun yet at the same time they have learned something new.

Fun fact:

My parents raised my two sisters and me in a strong Catholic family. I played tennis and basketball growing up. I love to hang out with my friends, country music, and fishing. I am an avid University of Louisville sports fan. GO CARDS!!
