District Governor’s Cup
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th graders who participated in the District 24 Governor’s Cup Competition last Saturday! St. Martha School placed 1st in Quick Recall, 2nd in future Problem Solving and 2nd in the Overall Final Standings!
We showed excellent achievement in written assessments with several students earning medals for their work.
Mathematics: Ava K. – 4th Place; Science: Ethan E. – 2nd Place and Ava K. – 3rd Place; Language Arts: Mallory B. – 1st Place; Arts and Humanities: Morgan S. – 5th Place; Composition: Sarah D. – 1st Place, Laura R. – 3rd Place and Lanie B. – 5th Place.
Outstanding work, Everyone! We are so proud of you all!! Good luck as you proceed on to the Regional Governor’s Cup Competition!
Jefferson County Conservation Art Contest
Congratulations to Gretchen C. for her fantastic artwork in this contest. The theme for this year is “Water is Life.” She was the school winner, and placed 3rd in the county! We will post an image of her artwork when it is returned from the judging committee. Way to go, Gretchen!
Our 4th/5th Grade Shamrockgirls Robotics Team placed 4th out of 50 teams in the VEXRobotics District Competition in December.
They subsequently placed in the top 8 teams in the Regional Competition! Dare to Rock, Robotics!
