CEF Tuition Assistance – New Information!

St. Martha is once again able to offer tuition assistance to families who want to ensure their child(ren) are able to attend Catholic school. With the partnership of the Catholic Education Foundation, St. Martha has been able to provide tuition assistance to many families who would not have been able to attend our school with the cost of full tuition. To receive tuition assistance, families must apply for it through the Catholic Education Foundation. We encourage ALL families to apply.

See below for information about when and how to apply. PLEASE NOTE THE DIFFERENCE IN DATES FOR THE APPLICATION PROCESS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS.

If you have any questions at all regarding tuition assistance or the application process, please contact Barbara Glanz (ext. 41) or Jacob Hein (ext. 33) in the Parish Office at 502-491-8535. They are happy to assist in any way they can.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

All families with one or more children enrolled in or applying to a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Louisville.

WHEN DO I APPLY?

NEW THIS YEAR, tuition assistance applications must be submitted between December 15, 2017 – February 28, 2018.

HOW DO I APPLY?

A single form, the FACTS management application, will be used for all forms of Catholic elementary school tuition assistance. The application is only available online.

New this year, families must submit their application, 2016 Federal tax-return, 2016 W-2’s and other non-taxable documentation along with the $25 processing fee by February 28, 2018.

DO I APPLY EVERY YEAR?

Yes, you must apply for tuition assistance each year.

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN GRANTED TUITION ASSISTANCE?

Tuition assistance award letters will be mailed to families no later than June 15, 2018.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Completed applications received by February 28, 2018 will participate in the initial grant awards. A much smaller amount of tuition assistance may be available for forms submitted after that date.

Complete only one FACTS application for your family, including all students in the family (elementary and high school) on the same form. FACTS will send a need evaluation to all funding sources for which each family could qualify as well as the schools you have listed on the form.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?

We would be happy to assist you. Please call the Parish Office at 502-491-8535 and speak with Barbara Glanz (ext. 41) or Jacob Hein (ext. 33).
