WHEN DO I APPLY?
The application period has changed so families can apply for assistance earlier than before. Tuition assistance applications should be submitted between December 15, 2018 and February 28, 2019 for the 2019-20 school year.
HOW DO I APPLY?

To make the process easier, the income tax requirement has changed. When submitting your application, you must submit your 2017 federal income tax return and 2016 W-2 information.
DO I APPLY EVERY YEAR?
Yes, you must apply for tuition assistance each year.
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN GRANTED TUITION ASSISTANCE?
Tuition assistance award letters will be mailed to families in May. For questions or assistance, contact Barbara Glanz at email@example.com.
Helping School Families in Need
The Catholic Education Foundation, the Archdiocese of Louisville and our funding partners are growing to meet the needs of families who cannot afford the full cost of educating their children in a Catholic elementary school. Here’s some additional information about the program.
Catholic schools remain accessible by offering a wide range of tuition assistance options. Tuition assistance is available from:
- Archdiocese of Louisville
- Catholic Education Foundation
- Catholic high schools
Last year, more than $13.5 million was given to Catholic school students. All tuition assistance, applications, and procedures are handled through the FACTS Management application with one form that can be obtained through your school or online in December 2018 at www.ceflou.org. Even if you have students in more than one Catholic school, you can apply for all of your children on one form. The deadline for submitting the tuition assistance form for the 2019-2020 school year is February 28, 2019. FACTS Management is an independent, third-party service that provides reasonable assessments of the ability of families to pay tuition at private and parochial schools. For more information about FACTS and the application, visit here. Copies of the FACTS Management analysis and forms are shared only with the contracting parish, school or agency; no one else will receive this information. High school tuition assistance is communicated to families directly by the high school by mid-May; elementary tuition assistance will be communicated to you from the Catholic Education Foundation by June 1, 2019.
Who is Eligible?
All families with one or more children enrolled in or applying to a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Louisville are eligible to apply. Parish membership is not required in order to receive tuition assistance from high schools, the Catholic Education Foundation or for the 200% of poverty discount. Parish membership is required for the new Archdiocesan Voucher Fund and for assistance directly from a parish.
