Q & A with Mrs. Ackerman

Highlight of the Year:

There are so many highlights! Teaching them how to play chess, doing our gingerbread unit during Christmas, making our Stations of the Cross video…I could go on!

Passion:

I am passionate about integrating technology and real world experiences into everyday learning. It is also important to make learning fun!

Favorite part of teaching:

My favorite thing about teaching is watching the kids get excited about what they’ve learned.

Favorite memory from teaching:

The best memory I have from my teaching career is having the class I taught in both Junior Kindgerten and Kindergarten sing as the choir in my wedding.

My hope for my students:

I hope that all students will take risks and continue to challenge themselves.
